If you are a tourist on a tight budget, Matsuya is the place for you! Their ordering consoles have an English option so it is quite easy to navigate. Choosing is the issue as they offer a lot of varieties with some seasonal offerings. For less than a thousand yen (10 USD), you can have a really great meal with miso soup and some salad. You also have access to their wonderful pickled ginger and green tea. They are found everywhere in Tokyo; just look for their round logo!

I really love this restaurant. You can order and pay through the machine at the door. Once you've order the staff will be notified and prepare your meal right away. They have variety of meal to choose from and affordable as well.
